Thermotherapy is the first procedure used in a treatment. It is a warm disc application that has many therapeutic properties when applied to the skins surface. The heat will increase the size of the blood vessels, increasing blood flow and allowing the active ingredient used during the Ultrasound procedure to be distributed throughout the target area more effectively.
As well as increasing blood flow using a heat based treatment, it will prepare the surface skin for microdermabrasion by opening up the skin pores and making it easier for the vacuum to exfoliate and cleanse the skin, enabling the body to release harmful toxins.
Thermotherapy can also be used to relieve pain, relax collagen tissue, decrease joint stiffness, relieve muscle spasms and reduce inflammation.
Cryotherapy is the use of low temperatures in the aesthetic/medical industry, and is the last treatment performed using the DermaCo Pro system. When the Cryotherapy attachment is applied to the skin's surface, it slows down the cellular metabolism. Slowing down this absorption process allows the active ingredients used during the Ultrasound procedure more time to work within the target area.
Many treatment procedures like thermotherapy involve opening up the surface skin pores, helping with the infusion of product and aiding the skin to release harmful toxins. The skin is the largest organ in the body and is vulnerable to these harmful toxins, so it is essential to close the pores after treatment to avoid any further contamination. This is easily achieved using the Cryotherapy treatment option.
Diamond Tip Abrasion
Microdermabrasion is the safe and controlled removal of the epidermis, layer by layer. The Diamond Tip method uses various head sizes which allows the treatment of all target areas, even around the eyes, to rejuvenate and regenerate your skin.
Following the moderate removal of the top layers of the epidermis, there will be a period of increased growth of new cells. The new cells will travel outwards and replace the old dead cells that have been removed by microdermabrasion.
Benefits of Microdermabrasion
Improvement of skin tone, colour and texture
Reduction of enlarged pores
Removal of surface skin lines and wrinkles
Removal of discolouration caused by sun damage
Reduction of oily skin
Fresher and younger looking skin
Ultrasound has been used for cosmetic purposes since the early 1980's because of its therapeutic properties and great results. The Ultrasound attachments vibrate to create frictional heat that will penetrate through the dermal layers of the skin, with this warming and heating action being one of the most therapeutic factors of Ultrasound, and helps to expand the space in which the cells exist. This in turn will stimulate and expand the cell membrane, improve blood circulation, relax muscles and aid in the breakdown of fatty deposits, reducing the appearance of cellulite. It will also stimulate the skin tissue increasing cell regeneration, collagen production, and the removal of fine lines and wrinkles.
More importantly, Ultrasound will penetrate through the skin to the deepest layers, allowing specific types of nutrients to be absorbed. This procedure ensures that the active ingredient has been transported deep into the dermis and has effectively gone straight to the root of the problem, so that you receive the full benefit of the product.
Micro-current - Non Surgical Lifting
Micro-current therapy was developed over 20 years ago and was originally a medical treatment to re-educate weakened facial muscles in stroke victims and those who have suffered Bells Palsy, but has been adapted by the beauty industry to offer a course of treatments that would effectively tone and firm facial muscle fibre.
The procedure rejuvenates the skin, giving you more healthy looking contours, and resulting in you looking much younger. After just one treatment there will be a noticeable lift but, depending on your individual skin tone and muscle resistance levels, results can often be very dramatic.
The Micro-current probes emit a very tiny amount of electrical current that, applied to the skins surface, pushes through the dermal layers of the skin tissue and penetrates the muscles beneath. When the current comes into contact with the muscle, it re-educates the muscle fibres by using an intermittent electrical current (Faradic) that is biologically compatible with the body's own natural electrical energy - sometimes referred to as 'chi'. These muscle fibres contract and relax, achieving an incredible end result leaving your skin lifted and toned.
